Executed an Innovative Cab Branding Campaign for IKEA, the Global Home Furnishings Leader


IKEA is a Swedish multinational conglomerate that designs, manufactures, and sells ready-to-assemble furniture, home furnishings, and related services. The brand is globally recognised for its affordable, well-designed products and signature Scandinavian style. Guided by its mission to create a better everyday life for many, IKEA operates over 420 stores across 50 countries. Now, the brand is all set to make its much-anticipated entry into Delhi NCR.
As an iconic global brand, IKEA had already sparked excitement among Delhi’s residents, who were eagerly awaiting its arrival. To build on this anticipation and announce its grand debut in the city, IKEA wanted us to plan a unique cab branding campaign. The objective was to transform an everyday city cab into a moving brand showcase. The key goal: create an unconventional, eye-catching activation that reinforces IKEA’s core message of accessibility, convenience, and affordability.
Following our discussions, we kicked off an innovative OOH campaign that transformed a city cab into a striking IKEA-branded vehicle. The cab was fully wrapped in IKEA’s signature blue and yellow colours, instantly catching the eye. What truly set this campaign apart was the creative innovation—a fully assembled IKEA armchair securely mounted on top of the cab, symbolizing the brand’s promise of stylish and functional home solutions. With the campaign tagline “Delhi ka Dil Jeetne, IKEA is Here,” the activation positioned IKEA as a brand that understands and caters to the needs of Delhiites. This campaign not only created a visual spectacle but also successfully translated IKEA’s global identity into a local narrative, leaving an unforgettable impression on Delhi NCR.
